Do Your Kids Phone Apps Wins or Makes You Lose Heart First

Winning hearts is not always easy and for ‘products/goods’ it is depended on PR, word of mouth and the product itself. For electronic goods, you may buy something because it has good reviews (online comments and reviews) or the retailer encouraged you to buy it.

This is what happened to me the other day when we went shopping for a laptop for my 15-year-old niece. I had on my mind for hybrid computers despite the fact I had read that they may not be a perfect choice especially for the price that they are being sold out right now. Then, I had of course, the ultrabooks to explore because I understood the pain of heavy luggage when you know that gadgets are getting much lighter these days!

I lost the case to my niece, brother-in-law and the store rep because they preferred neither Apple’s Air Book (because of the cost factor) nor hybrids. Recently, I heard a complaint that my niece doesn’t like to use her laptop because it is heavy. So, she mainly uses her tablet. As per my experiential observation, even if only one good friend of my niece had an Apple product/hybrid/ultra book, she perhaps would have heard me better. Now she mostly uses her tablet and is constantly downloading apps on to it and sometimes I wonder what if she is using SnapChat or some other messaging apps that has a good reputation and word of mouth reference from her friends?

Apps developers know that kids like the new buzz. So in 2013, we will see next generation consoles and interactive games with the Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720 get ready for release. There are also few free game apps like ‘Watch Dogs’,’ Tomb Raider’ to be released in March and many more. Some kids believe that such computer games are a break out hits and killer games. Well, one thing is for sure that they do give the adrenaline rush by arousing desperation, and developing violent traits into them but more like a sustained panic attack for parents.

For parents, the guide book should be simple that they should only let tweens and teens install those apps that are meant for them at their age and are not excessively violent or sexual in nature. If possible, they should be self attested by parents for approval. Then to know the effects of gaming and such apps on children parents should install a self managed tool for smart mobile monitoring like Mobile Spy software that logs and records smartphone activities in stealth mode.

There are tens to hundreds of software for monitoring kids but only handfuls are of cutting edge technology. Monitoring software should be easy to understand, install and should have the best features that are worth purchasing. The Mobile Spy software is constantly upgrading itself with added tracking options like LIVE control panel for easy viewing in real time, logs for calls, photos, videos, emails, calendar, contacts, texts, all IM chats and all apps that they install on the smartphones like iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry.

Another thing that parents should know is what the mobile monitoring software is capable of doing like its affordable pricing and user-friendly menu like a control panel that helps them monitor and track their kids. Mobile Spy allows parents to access their control panel from any internet active browser and makes monitoring kids a smooth flow and more interactive.
